Inspiration

41°C is becoming the norm in Bordeaux, the wine capital of the world. Warmer temperatures cause grapes to ripen faster, resulting in lower productivity and lower-quality grapes. That ultimately affects the alcohol content, acidity level and the color of wine. To the locals there is much more at stake, losing iconic French wine flavours would also mean losing a central aspect of French culture.
